About This Project

The Bridge Art Project aims to provide a visual record of Australia’s cultural development and is a collaborative concept being developed by indigenous and non-indigenous Australians. The Project aims to be recognised nationally and internationally as an iconic centre for postmodern art and education on the history and culture of indigenous and post-settlement Australians.

The project at the new Murray River Crossing Bridge will become a major tourism development showcasing Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists, as well as local Yorta Yorta Nation visual story-tellers and emerging artists of all backgrounds. It is poised to become an iconic tourism destination for Echuca Moama and the Murray River region.

Stanford Marketing undertook a workshop for the project as our pro-bono contribution to its vision. From there, we created a funding prospectus, identifying project priorities and key achievements focussing on:

  • Attracting support and buy-in from stakeholders
  • Aligning partnerships
  • Seeking sponsorship
  • Funding sources – grants and philanthropy
